So I have officially decided that my favorite band is most definitely Modest Mouse. Anyone interested in the band should check out this really cool documentary that was shot while they were making the amazing Lonesome Crowded West. Part one of five can be found below.

hah, this is funny -
last month i had a similar realization: it occurred to me, thinking about the bands that have shaped my life and the one's i get the most pleasure out of, that modest mouse was definitely my favorite band as well.
not only that, but the song that i've been listening to more than any other song this past week (the only exception being 'freak scene' by dinosaur jr) has been 'other people's lives'.

oh, and this is zach solomon. we don't actually know each other but i see you around at grind shows and i think you may have lived in bullock last year but i also could be making that up.
